“ Great food and staff were friendly and helpful. The sun was out so we sat outside and ordered something to eat. We had a steak burger which was thick and succulent and the fries red hot and crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle along with bacon brie and cranberry sandwich on gluten free bread again was great. Normally glutten free bread isn't great but this was good! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu. . . . ”

“ Great bar with nice seating area outside that catches the afternoon sun and sheltered from wind. We drank here a couple of times over our stay in Amble and spoke at length with the owner. A great guy only too willing to talk explaining their beers and food concepts and promoting other local establishments too. Didnt eat but what I saw food looked good, but try the Budver beer it messes with your head as it looks stouty and thik but its a lager. ”
“ came here for a quick breakfast before a long trip home. The service was really great. lovely staff. Food came quick, We ordered sausage and bacon sandwich and full english. It came nice and simple, was all fresh and hot. exactly what youd want. We loved the fact it was dog friendly because we bring our dog everywhere. Not to forget the the location right on the harbour! absolutely gorgeous. would highly recommend. ”
“ Well, what a great impromptu stop off for a beer. Beautiful variety of draught and bottled continental beers, ciders and cocktails, served in stylish glasses (very important).We also went for the meals. Fabulous assortment of Frankfurters, Bratwurst etc with fries, with a special beef and chilly variety- delicious. Outside tables when the sun shines. (Today was beautiful, and it was lovely), if it gets nippy, go inside- open area, private tables, and a comfortable sofa area- something for everyone. Spotlessly clean, and importantly, clean toilets. Staff extremely pleasant and attentive, and appreciate your custom. When often you find mediocre, its brilliant to find a gem like this. Very well thought out by the owners. Thank you, well be back. ”
